Desert Island Discs

Robert was the guest on the BBC’s prestigious Radio 4 programme Desert Island Discs. The premise of the show is that the guest is a ‘castaway’ on a deserted tropical island and has to choose eight recordings which hold special meaning for them. The ‘castaway’ is also allowed to take a copy of The Bible, the Complete Works of William Shakespeare and one additional book and a (non-practical) luxury item.

Robert’s chosen book was ’Sons and Lovers’ by DH Lawrence.
